As the question was brought up at yesterday's TWS meeting, but we couldn't discuss it in detail, let's talk about it here.

There are some documentation related tasks in the sprint, especially when it comes to the game mechanics. The question is: should sprint-related mechanics details be added to the Trac (sprint task) tickets right away or should they rather reside at the wiki? In case they're wikified, we should add a link to the specific wiki article to the Trac (sprint task) ticket, so that the relevant information can be easily found by whoever works or relies on this specific ticket.

What's your take on the sprint documentation worfklow?

Mechanics details would be wiki pages or sections of wiki pages?

They need to be in the wiki or else the wiki content is out of date or incomplete I think. When tickets are closed, links to the wiki pages
http://wiki.parpg.net/Character_generation_and_stats
or page sections
http://wiki.parpg.net/Character_generation_and_stats#Primary_Stats
need to be posted into the tickets. Or links to chages
http://wiki.parpg.net/index.php?title=Character_generation_and_stats&action=historysubmit&diff=10727&oldid=10708
Although I'm not sure the latter is very useful.

Usually this would be parts of existing wiki articles. Sometimes a new wiki article might have to be created in a sprint, but I guess that's rather the exception, not the rule.

If the info would have to be added to the wiki later, then it depends on the affected people what they prefer: wiki + trac or only trac during the sprint and wiki after.

Unless we want to discuss moving away from wiki and closer to trac (now or at end of sprint).
