I've just mailed b0rder, shrew81 & atomic asking for a short sign of life from them. I'm pretty sure they're simply busy with real life but it would be good to know if they plan to return at some point. Will keep you updated here.

I assume Nine's pretty much out?  I haven't heard from her in awhile...

I can fire her an email as well but I'm not really sure if that's the right thing to do at this point. Right now I'm rather happy that zenbitz stepped up and started to flesh out the techdemo quests. What do you think?

I've sent her a few emails, both in regards to our storyline, and just seeing how she's doing, and I haven't heard from her in over a month.

I'm glad Zenbitz has stepped up, too, especially since I've completely dropped the ball (I blame life...).  It's good to have someone worrying about the writing.

She is on IRC every now and then, and seems really busy with reallife issues (theater and such things).

Not wanting to pick on anyone - obviously I could invest more time myself too - but I think to keep the ball rolling we need to move forward, else people lose interest quickly (and motivation), and I think that would be very detrimental to the project. Zenbitz seems to have done quite some progress with the definition of the quests on the wiki, and I think with such a tempo we will manage to push out techdemo #1 at the end of 2009 easily. Unless we hit some big obstacles ... :-)

I agree.  I forgot about IRC (shows how out of the loop with everything I've let myself become).

Atomic just got back to me and reported that he's currently incredibly busy as school has started again for him. If everything goes well, he might be back in about 7 weeks when school has finished again.

I've sent reflecs a PM, asking if everything is okay on his side as we haven't seen him lately. As soon as he replied in any way, I'll let you know.

Btw just for the record, Atomic was on IRC not long ago.
So many people do come back, eventually. :-)

Any news from Kaydeth?

Edit: He visits us every now and then but I guess he is very busy in reallife.
