Quite some time has been passed since the last developer meeting. I would like to hold another meeting of the entire development team in mid September. Considering that the majority of the active developers reside in North America and Europe having such a meeting at a normal work day seems hard to impossible as a large number of developers will be either at work (NA) or already in bed (Europe).

Therefore I would like to propose to hold a meeting either at Saturday or Sunday. Could you attend a developer meeting at weekend days? I'm currently considering either 12th / 13th or 19th / 20th of September for such a meeting, depending on which date the most developers could attend. If you would be fine with a weekend meeting, I'll create a doodle for it to find the best time.

There are a bunch of topics we should discuss at the meeting, e.g. the next steps in the programming department, the status of the refactoring efforts, license issues in the graphics department etc. I'll compile a list of topics over the course of next days but I depend on the feedback of every department as you know best which topics should be talked about.

I've created an article about the meeting at the wiki:

19th/20th would be better for me, as I don't know if I'll be available for 12th/13th. I'll keep you posted.

Just to make things more difficult Wink

12th/13th would be better.  I'm out of town the weekend of the 19th/20th.

I'm going mountain biking in Whistler the weekend of the 12th, but time, wife and internet permitting I may still be able to attend Smiley

there are probably a few times I can make it those weekends.

My son has soccer games ~5:30-7:30 GMT on Saturdays.

I can always IRC from my blackberry though

I'm planning to go on a jazz festival during 12-13 weekends, so hardly will be available. 19-20th is good for me.

I've created a doodle for the meeting:

Please take the doodle so we can find the best date for the meeting.

I can never on weekends, at least not until we got Internet at home. Which will still take at least another month.

That's a pity :-/ On the other side I was pretty much expecting that there won't be a date that everyone could attend so we'll simply go for the one that the most developers can. That sounds like the fairest solution to me.

Don't worry about me. Use the date where the most people can attend, of course! Smiley

Now my circumstances have changed. Suddenly 12/13 has opened up, but I don't know about 19/20.
