I'll probably have to make test .gifs for my animations, until I'll able to test them in game, at least.
Here's a run test:

Edit: smoother than before..

Three more, then I'll start something more serious, I.E. the fall down/get up series, and probably some unarmed combat.

Pick up stuff:

Open Doors/crates:

Use:

Enjoy.

Really cool. I especially dig the pick-up animation. He doesnt just duck down, he moves one foot before he starts it!

Looks great to me Sirren :-) Nice work. I'm just trying to get your initial set of animations into SVN; something went wrong last time I tried to do so but this time I'll give it a try step by step.

EDIT: the animation files are in SVN now. The animation itself is not ingame at the moment but I'll look into it over the course of the weekend if nobody else tackled it until then.

Are the animations you showed here (use, open door, pick up, etc.) ready to be put into the game as well Sirren?

The walking and standing idle animation for the female NPC are working ingame now. Hooray for superfluid / orlandov who brought them ingame :-)

Thanks for your feedback folks!
Two WIPs: knocked back and throw. These are still to be fixed, really..

My previous animations are ready to be rendered, which is something I can do in a few hours if needed.

I got a look to the female animations, I'm really not satisfied with it- the female walk is simply terrible. I'll have to rearrange the walk frames to get a smoother transition between walk and stand (this will apply to all walking animations). In addition to this it seems that some materials were rendered as semi-clear. Boot and straps to be precise. I'll submit something ASAP.

The new WIP animations look good to me :-) I'm looking forward to see them in the game. You've got a good point there: it's hard to judge the animations before seeing them ingame. So it's a good idea that everyone on the team should have a recent SVN snapshot of the game on his system to be able to test things right away.

I uploaded my new npc animations. No more clear pieces. My walk animation still is badly centered, but I'd need to see a floor grid.. It looks somewhat better than before, though. Please keep in mind that the female npc rig is a temporary one.
I'd work on the male pc first and then apply new animations to other characters.
