I don't know if any of you watch game industry job boards, but I do in hopes that, one day, someone will post a killer entry-level audio position.  Turn a hobby into a career.  (And my involvement in PARPG is to turn a dream into a hobby, as well as to get something on my resume.)

Anyway, one that I've been watching is http://www.gamasutra.com/jobs/, and the one that caught my eye for a few people on this board was http://jobs.gamasutra.com/jobseekerx/viewjobrss.asp?cjid=18681&accountno=51016.  Unfortunately, that one requires relocating (most do), but I figured I'd throw that out there.

I had a slim chance of getting into the games industry circa 1994, but the wages weren't that great and it was a real code monkey job, with all the usual programming horror stories.

Would love to work for a game studio today though, now I'm a bit wiser. Just don't think I could put up with all the fresh comp sci graduates who think they know it all (used to interview them for jobs, get some real egotists, especially the ones that really don't know anything!).
