Title: PARPG font
Post by: Q_x on September 22, 2011, 09:36:28 PM
I've added quite some glyphs today.
No clone/checkout is working on my side, so no commit, but it sits there:

It's funky job here and there, not all is smooth and well-placed, but, since the world ended, there is noone to fix the typewriter.
Check it out and let me know if it works for your languages.
I've also added some crucial glyphs, like <, >, [ and ]...

Nice!

Can we use this font for the game?

I am also thinking ... we could use some historic documents like an old passport ... gives the feeling of nostalgia

Or old currencies in the game hehe...

Edit: We also should move this into the wiki, but under which subsection?

Graphics/Assets or something?

Lol, the font is already used both by PARPG and PPARPG. I just added glyphs - umlauts, circumflexes, accents... It's licensed as liberally, as possible, so it's no problem for anyone to use it for anything, relicensing is also not a problem.
I've added the files to my FTP folder, as a backup.

Thumbs up for old papers and some coins in-game. Also stamps, uniforms, stickers, some "special" tools that no one has any clues how it can work. As for documents - we will have to create those from the ground up, to avoid any possible law issues. I've been imagining the notebook we have there to be a bit more like collage.
