Title: One login to rule them, one login to bind them
Post by: shevegen on January 10, 2010, 10:14:12 AM
Just thinking. Would it be possible to have people setup only one account and have it work automagically everywhere PARPG related?

For the beginning, we could try to use an AuthPlugin for mediawiki. On IRC i was told that this works - if I get the ok, I am going to spend some time researching how this is done. :D

In theory I think giving people one shared login is better than require of them to register multiple times (forum, wiki, trac, and at cvsdude)

All I remember while chatting with Barra is that the systems are really separate - meaning they use different engines and different databases. So the short answer AFAIK is no, and the long is yes, if security reasons won't jeopardize it and if someone will make this huge code implementation, database sync etc.
